New Aldi store will open in Bolton next week

A new Aldi store is opening in Bolton next week.

The supermarket giant will be unveiling its new branch in Vincent Way in the Heaton area of Bolton.

The brand new store will open its doors to customers on Thursday June 11 at 8am - with the new store manager saying that the shop is aiming to 'give the local community access to everyday essentials during this difficult time'.

The new store will offer fresh, British meat products with weekly offers, Aldi’s exclusive ‘Specially Selected’ range, award-winning Beers, Wines and Spirits, and a ‘Food to Go’ section at the front of the store.

Aldi’s legendary Specialbuys will also be available in the middle aisle, every Thursday and Sunday, offering extraordinary value on a wide range of products, from electrical items to garden tools.

New store manager Matthew Lane said: “We’re really looking forward to opening the new Aldi store here in Bolton and giving the local community access to the everyday essentials they need during this challenging time.

“It will be lovely to welcome local customers in to store to provide them with Aldi’s everyday amazing products.”

The store manager will be joined by a team of 27 staff members from the local community, according to an Aldi spokesperson.

Along with job opportunities, Aldi is calling on local charities and food banks in Bolton to register with Neighbourly - a community engagement platform that links businesses to charitable organisations in the local community.

Local charities that register will be able to collect surplus food and perishable products, such as fruit, vegetables and baked goods, up to five days a week.

Any charities in the area that would like to partner up with the new Aldi store should email aldi@neighbourly.com.

The new Aldi store joins a host of branches in Bolton, including the stores in Higher Bridge Street, Trinity Street and Cutacre Way.

The new store will be located on Vincent Way, Bolton, BL3 2NB and will be open 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
