Newcastle fans have cast doubts over their reported link to James Rodriguez this morning.
The Toffees midfielder has fallen out of favour at Goodison Park following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti to Real Madrid.
The Italian was pivotal in his move to Merseyside last summer but has since moved back to Los Blancos.

Reports in Italy from Calcio In Pillole claim the Magpies are looking to capitalise on his situation at Goodison Park and Transfer guru Ekrem Konur has backed up those claims.
However, Newcastle fans have questioned the validity of the claims and do not believe the Magpies would stump up the money for the Colombian's wages.
