Off the back of a dismal World Cup defence, where they lost twice and failed to progress to the knockout stages, Joachim Low's Germany were then relegated to the second tier of the Nations League.
Facing Netherlands in the newly-formed tournament, Germany lost and drew the two encounters against their rivals last year.
But Die Nationalmannschaft must put that disappointment to one side as they bid to beat the Oranje in their own back yard at the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus believes the four-time world champions are capable of taking all three points, while Liverpool star Virgil Van Dijk insists the Dutch do not consider themselves as favourites to win.
