Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender Remake Cast Revealed!

Exciting news for fans of the beloved childhood cartoon, Avatar: The Last Airbender! Netflix has announced a live-action remake of the popular animated series, bringing back the adventures of Aang and his quest to master the four elements to defeat the Fire Nation.

The new cast for the live-action adaptation has been revealed, sparking curiosity and anticipation among viewers. Gordon Cormier will be taking on the role of Aang, known for his appearances in The Stand, Lost in Space, and Two Sentence Horror Stories.

Joining him is Kiawentiio as Katara, recognized for her work in Beans, What If...?, and Anne with an E. Dallas Liu will portray Prince Zuko, with previous roles in Tekken, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Underdog Kids, and Mortal Kombat: Legacy.

Ian Ousley will bring Sokka to life, having been seen in Physical, 13 Reasons Why, and Big Shot. Paul Sun-Hyung Lee is set to play Uncle Iroh, known for his roles in Kim's Convenience, The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and The Book of Boba Fett.

Other cast members include Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai, recognized for his work in The Divergent Series: Insurgent, Lost, Hellboy, and For Love of the Game. Matthew Yang King will voice Appa, with previous appearances in Love, Death & Robots, Riverdale, Mortal Kombat 11, and Cyberpunk 2077.

Elizabeth Yu will take on the role of Princess Azula, known for her work in May December and Somewhere in Queens. The diverse and talented cast has generated excitement among fans, eager to see their favorite characters brought to life in the new adaptation.
