Neighbour slams driver's 'thoughtless' parking in scathing note left on car

A self-proclaimed 'passive-aggressive note enthusiast' was left stunned after coming across a scathing note attached to a motorist's windscreen. The message, secured by tape, had been left by a frustrated neighbour who was apparently sick and tired of the driver's 'thoughtless' parking.

Slamming the inconsiderate vehicle owner, the enraged neighbour claimed they had been left unable to get their own car out of their driveway for a whole week because the driver's car was blocking it. They begged the 'anti-social' neighbour to 'please stop', adding that the car was too long to be parked in the space legally, the Mirror reports.

A picture of the message was shared to Reddit by the note enthusiast, who goes by the username, u/Christovski and described the note as a 'real treat'. They also remarked: 'When your neighbour parks 20cm into the ramp to your drive'.

The message, which they had noticed while out on a walk, read: "Your parking is anti-social and thoughtless. Your car is too long to park here legally. It either sticks out too far at the front or - as now - at the back or both.

"For a week in September, we could not get our car out because yours and another car blocked our car in. Please stop."

Giving more insight into the situation, the author of the post explained: "It's a small driveway ramp, next door has one too. The space in between can fit a Fiesta/Micra-sized vehicle in. This was a big people carrier.

"The amount this vehicle had blocked the driveway meant that if someone legally parked on the other side, the driveway would be inaccessible."

Other Reddit users were left equally captivated by the neighbourhood row, with one person commenting: "Cars make people turn into mindless, tribalistic animals."

Another said: "They couldn’t get their car off the drive for a week and they’re only writing a polite note about it now?! I wish I had their level of patience. I’d have done something stupid and regrettable in the first 10 minutes."
