RANCHI: Students appearing in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will have to follow Covid-19 safety guidelines while entering exam centres.
The exam is to be held on July 17 at 10 centres across the city.
Masks will be mandatory for students and every centre will have isolation rooms for students who feel unwell.
Dr Ram Singh, coordinator of NEET, said, “The students have to follow the guidelines. Thermal screening will be done before entering the examination hall. If any student feels unwell and has fever, he/she will have to sit in the isolation room to take the exam. Every centre will have one isolation room.”
Around 16,300 students will appear in the pre-medical entrance exam across the state. In Ranchi, there are 10 centres and 8,152 students will take the exam. The exam will be held from 2 pm to 5.20 pm. The admit cards for the examination have been released.
