‘Need results’ - Nottingham Forest fans say the same thing after Norwich City defeat

Nottingham Forest fell to their fifth loss in six games on Wednesday night as the disappointing start to the season continued against Norwich City.

The Reds were on the end of a 2-1 defeat at Carrow Road, thanks to goals from Jacob Sorensen and Emiliano Buendia either side of Anthony Knockaert’s equaliser in the second half.

It was the Frenchman’s first goal for Forest since signing on loan from Fulham in the summer, but it only drew Chris Hughton’s side level for four minutes before the Canaries regained the lead.

Knockaert’s goal was Forest’s first since a 2-0 win over Wycombe back at the start of November.

GARIBALDI RED: Should Forest really be concerned about the threat of relegation?

The result leaves Forest in 21st position in the table, just one point above East Midlands rivals Derby County perilously close to the Championship drop zone.

After the full-time whistle, fans took to social media to give their immediate reaction to the result.

Here is what some had to say.

Simon Eaton : If you consistently give opposition teams a goal head start you'll always be up against it. Cut out the sloppy errors and we'll get out of trouble. #nffc

HantsRed : When you’re down on your luck, it sucks! Good spirit, but it bothers me how we play well when behind in games...! #nffc

Cam : Subs made an impact when coming on, would’ve like to have seen Mighten get more of the ball. Guerrero should’ve taken his chance near the end but showed composure on the ball which is good. Would like to see a similar set up at the weekend to what finished the game today #nffc

Aaron : Did people watch the same game as me, saying we deserved a point? We scored from a cross. Sorry if this is perceived as negative but on another night we don’t lose 2-1, we lose 2-0 #NFFC

Tom : Thought forest played very well last half an hour and deserved a point. Knockeart must be thinking what more can he do. His crosses and corners were excellent. Someone needs to get on the end of them. #nffc

Danielle : We're coming for you. We're coming for you. Swindon Town, we're coming for you

#NFFC

Sam Straw : It's fair to say that was an improved performance (it still wasn't that good), but it's getting to the stage now where we just desperately need results. #NFFC
