TWO men have been arrested after police seized cannabis worth nearly half a million pounds in Ayrshire.
At around 10am on Thursday, officers acting on intelligence discovered a cannabis cultivation at a vacant building in Boswell Park in Ayr.
The drugs have an estimated street value of £434,000.
Two men, aged 33 and 29, have been arrested and charged in connection.
Detective Sergeant Allan Auld said: “This significant recovery highlights our commitment to disrupting drug-related crime in our communities.
“It also reinforces our ongoing commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
