NBA Twitter reacts to Christian Wood joining the Lakers

After weeks of rumors that he would join the Los Angeles Lakers, it is official: Christian Wood has signed a two-year contract with the Purple and Gold.

He certainly comes with risks. Many have pointed out his defensive ineptness and outsized opinion of himself and his offensive value. But he can certainly help the team, especially on the offensive end, where he is a proven scorer and accurate 3-point shooter.

If Wood works out with the Lakers, he will give them something close to an embarrassment of riches, joining LeBron James, Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura and the fast-emerging Austin Reaves.
