NBA moves April 3 Thunder vs. Celtics matchup to ESPN

The Oklahoma City Thunder will play another national television game as their road contest against the Boston Celtics on April 3 was moved to ESPN.

As the Thunder have graduated to a title contender, they are naturally assigned more national TV games. That’s been the case this season as this latest example joins a long list of contests played on either ESPN or TNT.

This will be the second night of a road back-to-back for the Thunder. They will play the Philadelphia 76ers on April 2 on TNT. So both contests for OKC will be viewed by a national audience.

This could serve as a potential NBA Finals preview as it features two of the best teams in the league. While Boston has the first seed wrapped up, OKC will likely still be in the battle for first place in the West by the time this game occurs.

This will be the second matchup between the Thunder and Celtics this season. OKC won a close contest over Boston on Jan. 2.
