Was this Naveen-ul-Haq social media post directed at Virat Kohli?

NEW DELHI: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pacer Naveen-ul-Haq had an on-field altercation with star batter Virat Kohli during his team's IPL 2023 match against RCB at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. The verbal spat between Naveen-ul-Haq and Virat refuses to die down with the Afghan player firing fresh salvo on Saturday.

Days after the episode, Naveen-ul-Haq shared a picture with LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir and wrote a cryptic caption.

He captioned the post, "Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want to be talked to."

Gambhir also reacted to the post.

"Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want to be talked to #With (Goat Emoji)," Naveen captioned the picture on Instagram. Reacting to the post, Gambhir wrote: "Be who you are !! 'Never Change'."

Naveen was fined 50 per cent of his match fees for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct. Naveen-ul-Haq admitted to the Level 1 offence under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

Virat and Gambhir were also fined 100% of their fees for the match. Both admitted to breaching the IPL code of conduct related to bringing the game into disrepute.

Virat and Gambhir were teammates during India's 2011 World Cup win.
