'Natural baller' - Manchester United fans go wild for academy youngster Shea Lacey's stunning solo goal

Manchester United fans have gone wild for academy youngster Shea Lacey after he scored a magnificent solo goal in the Rewe Junior Cup.

The tournament which takes place in the city of Gottingen, Germany allows youth talent from across Europe to showcase their fledgling skills in short format, indoor matches. This year, the tournament takes place between January 5 and January 8 and has seen United send a team to take part.

One clip from the week's action has particularly caught the attention of United fans on Twitter this weekend. In the said clip, 15-year-old Lacey showcased his talents with an amazing goal for the Reds.

Beginning inside the opposition's half, Lacey firstly does well to evade the challenges of three defenders. Forced out wide, the attacking midfielder does expertly to work his way out of the wall before dropping a shoulder to beat the last defender.

With only the goalkeeper left to beat, Lacey showed great composure to chip the ball over the on-rushing shot stopper and score for United. You can watch the full clip below.

Unsurprisingly, supporters on Twitter were quick to praise the teenager for his incredible solo effort with some fans even comparing the youngster to Manchester City's Phil Foden. Here is what some of the fans had to say.

Lacey is well regarded at United and is already playing at a level well above his age group. Recently, the Englishman came on for a 15 minute cameo as the Reds drew 2-2 with Newcastle United in the U18 Premier League.
