The National Cultural Festival will be held at NTR Grounds here on April 1, 2 and 3 with over 600 artistes, including local artistes, scheduled to perform.
Vice President M. Venkiah Naidu will inaugurate the three-day cultural extravaganza, informed Union Minister for Tourism, Culture and Development of North East G. Kishan Reddy on Tuesday.
About 150 stalls will be set up and the cultural heritage of various states will be showcased through the handicrafts, arts, food, etc. The special attractions would be grand musical nights by singer-musician Shankar Mahadevan and music director Thaman with top singers slated to perform live as part of the evening programme. The festival is free and open to public, he added.
