Nathan Carter reveals worries about impact of Brexit on ticket prices

Singer Nathan Carter is concerned about the impact Brexit might have on his shows’ ticket prices.

The 28-year-old admitted he's worried that VAT on tickets could push the prices up.

The country crooner said: “The fact of the VAT on tickets would’ve pushed ticket prices up for people across the border I don’t know.

“I just think the whole thing is a mess. I’m hoping it’ll resolve itself.”

Nathan, whose parents are from Newry, said that he had applied for an Irish passport because he’s worried about the queues at Dublin Airport.

Nathan Carter reveals he's heartbroken over tragic Tyrone hotel stampede which left three teens dead

He told the Irish Daily Star: “I’m in the process of applying for mine (Irish passport) because I’ve seen the queues whenever you’re coming back into Dublin of people who don’t have the European passport.”

Nathan has been on the lookout for Ireland’s next country star as he was auditioning the finalists of the Late Late Show’s 'A Search For A Country Star' competition in Mullingar, Co Westmeath.

The winner will have the chance to duet with Nathan on national television on May 3.
