Motorsport Games has announced that online servers for the NASCAR Heat series will shut down permanently on August 1, 2025, as part of the iRacing license transfer. After that, the game will still work in single-player modes.
Back on December 31, 2024 all NASCAR titles and their DLC were taken down from digital storefronts, making them unavailable for new purchases. Those who already own the games can still access and play them. The change affected NASCAR Heat, NASCAR Rivals and NASCAR Ignition.
NASCAR 25 is scheduled to release this fall for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. It’s bringing all four top NASCAR series—NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, Craftsman Truck Series and for the first time ever in a standalone title, the ARCA Menards Series. All four series, along with real drivers from each, will be featured in the game’s Career Mode, quick races, seasons and online multiplayer.
