Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti has laughed off speculation linking him with the Arsenal job.
Arsenal have won just two of their last 11 Premier League games, with many of the club’s supporters now calling on the Gunners board to part company with their head coach.
Emery is the third favourite behind Marco Silva of Everton, and Manuel Pellegrini of West Ham, with the bookies to be the next manager to be sacked in the Premier League.
And although Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is the favourite to succeed the Spaniard at the Emirates, Ancelotti is also a name continually linked with the role.
But when asked prior to this side’s Champions League clash with Liverpool if there was anything in the speculation, the former Chelsea boss laughed, before branding the talk as “rumours”.
“I stay with Napoli, of course,” Ancelotti told BT Sport.
“(laughs) these are rumours. I have white hair and experience. In this moment they are all rumours.”
Napoli currently sit seventh in Serie A with 20 points from their 13 games so far this season, but are well placed to qualify from the group stage in the Champions League.
