Napoli make Allan decision as Everton transfer rumours continue

Rumours linking Napoli midfielder Allan with a move to Everton continue to swirl.

The Brazilian has looked set to depart the Stadio San Paolo, after falling out of favour with manager Gennaro Gattuso.

Everton are interested in bringing the 29-year-old to Goodison Park, the ECHO understands, but it's yet to be seen if they will have the finances available to conclude such deals.

A fresh development which is sure to intensify those rumours is the recent Napoli team selection for their latest pre-season friendly.

Gattuso named a mixed line-up including the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, with Lorenzo Insigne and new signing Victor Osimhen on the bench.

But one player who was not included in the matchday squad is Allan, further enhancing the likelihood of the 29-year-old’s departure from the Serie A club during the current transfer window.
