A woman who lived in Ireland for a time was found on an Adriatic island with no memory of who she was.
The woman was discovered on September 12, with no memory.
She has since been confirmed as Slovakian woman Daniela Adamcova - Croatian police received a tip from the United States about her identity, according to local reports.
She had lived in the US up until 2015 - when the 56-year-old moved to Ireland.
There are reports from the Times that she was an extremely successful jewellery designer, who ended up becoming homeless.
Daniela was covered in cuts and bruises when she was spotted by a fisherman on the craggy outcrop on the isle of Krk.
She was severely dehydrated and emaciated and had bloody scabs from deep scratches on her face, but she did not have cuts on her feet, according to a Daily Beast report.
The same publication speaks to a former landlord of hers, Tyler Madsen, who knew her before she landed on these shores in July of 2015.
He said: “Our interactions were always good. She was a hard worker and was always trying to save up money. I think it was Ireland she was trying to go to and she had friends over there and was really determined to save up and get to her people.”
The woman has since been transferred to a hospital in the town of Rijeka. Police described her condition as “stable” and said that Croatian social services will take over once she is released from hospital care, according to AP.
