My Favorite Wireless Earbuds in Amazon’s Early Prime Day Deals

Amazon’s early Prime Day deals are starting to take place, and among them are some really good discounts on wireless earbuds. Some of my favorite wireless earbuds are among them, including the Apple AirPods Pro 2 and the Nothing CMB Buds Pro 2. But I’ve tracked down several wireless earbuds options across different price points, so whether you’re a gamer, a traveler, or somebody who just needs to drown out the noise of a busy office, there should be a discounted set of wireless buds for you here. Any of these buds would pair well with some of the smartwatch deals that are also going on at Amazon right now, but you could pair them with one of Samsung’s most affordable tablets as well.

Soundcore P30i By Anker — $29, Was $50

If affordability is on your wireless earbuds checklist, the P30i provide some of the best bang for the buck you’ll find while they’re on sale for just $29. Soundcore has packed these with impressive audio features, including active noise-cancellation that adapts to your surrounding environment. Such a feature is typically reserved for more expensive wireless buds, but with the P30i you won’t have to break the bank to get a little listening privacy. These also come with a charging case that doubles as a phone stand, which is one of the more unique features you’ll find in a set of wireless buds.

The P30i are also designed to get down and dirty with some video games. They’ll pair easily with any console or TV that supports Bluetooth connectivity, and they’re able to reach up to 10 hours of continuous playback. That’s perfect for marathon gaming sessions, and the charging case will provide an additional 25 hours of life. If you happen to run them dry while in the middle of something important, you’ll only have to charge them for 10 minutes in order to get an additional two hours of use.

JBL Vibe Buds 2 — $50, Was $60

JBL makes a lot of quality, affordable wireless buds. The JBL Vibe Buds 2 are on sale for $40, and they’re one of my favorites in the JBL lineup. They deliver JBL Deep Bass Sound, which sounds great when playing video games, but can also create a super immersive listening experience when watching sports. The Vibe Buds 2 also have a TalkThru mode that allows you to communicate to people around you without having to take the earbuds out every time an encounter occurs.

I mentioned gaming with these buds, and they’re a great option if that’s one of your audio needs. They have an ergonomic design that’s made to be comfortable for extended listening session, as well as impressive battery life. The Vibe Buds 2 can reach a total of 40 hours of playback with the included charging case, or up to 10 hours out of the earbuds alone. JBL has also included quick-charging technology in the Vibe Buds 2, so it takes just 10 minutes to get an extra two hours of listening time.

Nothing CMF Buds Pro 2 — $47, Was $69

The Nothing CMF Buds Pro 2 are on sale for $47, and they’ve recently become one of my favorite sets of earbuds. They come in traditional black and white colors, but also a couple of more unique colors in orange and blue. They have six HD microphones that help deliver some serious noise-cancellation, as well as Nothing’s Ultra Bass Technology 2.0. This intelligently enhances low frequencies in real-time without compromise audio quality, so you can count on just the right amount of bass showing up for whatever you’re listening to.

Spatial Audio is probably the standout feature of these buds. It’s a technology typically reserved for wireless buds at a much higher price point. With Spatial Audio onboard, a number of different immersive experiences are in play. Gaming and movies become much more of an experience, and music often feels like the band is right there in the room with you. The CMF Buds Pro 2 can reach up to 10 hours of battery life on their own, and they’ll get another 33 hours of playback with the included charging case.

JBL Tune Flex 2 — $80, Was $100

JBL turns up again here with the Flex 2. These wireless buds are on sale for $80, which is $20 off their regular price. They deliver some solid audio by way of 12mm dynamic drivers, and JBL’s Spatial Sound turns just about any audio into a lifelike experience. These are the kind of wireless buds you should consider for pairing with your home theater, as they will really make things like movies, sports events, and gaming experiences with much more depth than cheaper earbuds.

With the included charging case the JBL Tune Flex 2 can reach 48 hours of total playback between charges. That’s a lot of listening time no matter where you plan to plop yourself. With the JBL headphones app you’ll be able to customize things like active noise-cancellation, ambient sound settings, and equalizer presets. This earbuds also make a great choice if you spend a lot of time on the phone or in video chats, as the noise-cancellation does a great job of blocking out things like wind and office chatter.

Apple AirPods 4 (With ANC) — $159, Was $179

A man listens to the Apple AirPods 4 in silhouette against a pastel gradient background.

The AirPods 4 are marked down to $159, and they’re Apple’s most recent AirPods release. They combine a lot of great features you typically find only in premium earbuds options with improved-upon features you’ll find in cheaper buds. Audio quality is not an issue with these AirPods, as Apple packs them with Spatial Audio and active noise-cancellation. These combine to provide some privacy as well as a really deep listening experience. The Spatial Audio in these earbuds include Dynamic Head Tracking technology, which makes things like movies and sports an experience apart from cheaper earbuds.

The charging case of the AirPods 4 is one of the smallest you’ll find for a set of wireless earbuds, making these extremely portable. They’ll fit easily into bags, as well as many pockets. The case is capable of charging with a Qi-certified charger, which means you can charge it wirelessly. If you have other Apple devices, these will fit right into the ecosystem. They can recognize which device you’re using and will automatically movie audio playback to a new Apple device when you do.

Apple AirPods Pro 2 — $199, Was $249

You won’t find a more premium set of earbuds in Apple’s lineup than the AirPods Pro 2. They’re currently on sale for $199, which is $50 off their regular price of $249. This is one of the better discounts I’ve seen on the AirPods Pro 2, so you’ll want to act quickly to claim these. They are, without a doubt, the best in-ear listening experience Apple has to offer, and if budget is no option to you, these are the earbuds to go with. The audio quality is top notch, and AirPods Pro 2 include features like Personalized Spatial Audio and active noise-cancellation.

But these are also IP54 rated, which means they’re dust, sweat, and water resistant. That makes them a good option for anybody who is looking for a superior, all-purpose set of wireless buds. Spatial Audio will make watching your favorite content a true experience, battery life will provide you with about all you need to get through a workday, and just the right amount of ruggedness and durability will make the AirPods Pro 2 a nice co-pilot for fitness enthusiasts.
