Digital Dreams Entertainment has announced Mutant League Football 2 will launch on December 10 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The sequel revives the series’ signature blend of football and chaos, with 8-on-8 matchups where mutants, orcs, skeletons and armored machines clash in arenas packed with buzzsaws, landmines and massive mutant worms.
Billed as the anti-Madden, it combines pick-up-and-play simplicity with enough strategy to keep things competitive, all while embracing over-the-top chaos. A revival of the cult classic that first hit the Sega Genesis in the ’90s, the sequel raises the stakes with deeper customization, unpredictable gameplay, and multiple paths to victory—whether by scoring touchdowns or leaving the opposing team too battered to finish.
Created by the same mind behind the original Mutant League Football and Hockey, MFL2 takes the series’ trademark carnage and dials it up to a new level.
Mutant Football League 2 is available now through Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview, with a trial also open to Xbox players.
