Andy Murray has been drawn in the same group as top seed Roger Federer in the round robin stage of next week's Master's Cup.
As well as Federer, who has won the title for the last two years, world No4 Murray will face American Andy Roddick and Frenchman Gilles Simon in the Red Group, from which two players will progress to the semi-finals of the £2.8m tournament.
Serbian world No3 Novak Djokovic heads the Gold Group, which also includes Russian Nikolay Davydenko, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France and Argentine Juan Martin Del Potro. World No1 Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from the event because of fatigue.
