Emergency services raced to a major incident in West Lothian last night.
A large police presence attended Moss Side Drive, Blackburn, on Friday evening as local residents claimed a body had been found in the area.
Local community leaders are asking locals to avoid the area due to "an ongoing murder investigation ".
A post on the Blackburn community page said: " Due to an ongoing murder investigation in Mosside Drive people are been asked to stay away.
"This is devastating for all families involved and so many rumours going around. I'm sure after the police finish their investigation facts will be given
"Another loss for the community."
The exact circumstances of the incident are not yet known but it is understood cops are currently investigating.
Police Scotland have been contacted by the Daily Record for comment.
