A man has been charged with murder after a man died in south-east London.

Gareth Standing, 38, was arrested on Tuesday and later charged with the murder of 41-year-old Wayne Hoskyns.

Met Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to reports of an injured man in The Parade, Crayford, in Bexley, on June 19.

Officers were sent to the scene and found the victim in an unresponsive state.

The victim has been officially identified as Wayne Hoskyns (Met Police)

He was taken to hospital in a critical condition by the London Air Ambulance and died on Saturday.

Standing will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
