Mums are raving about Aldi's £5 cutlery storage drawer which is almost identical to designer one

Mrs Hinch fans are raving about the new bargain Aldi cutlery drawer insert which is almost identical to a big-name designer one.

Mums have been racing to Aldi to get their hands on the £4.99 Kirkton House Expanding Cutlery Tray because it bears a striking resemblance to the storage tray from Joseph Joseph, which costs £26.

The tray boasts nine compartments for all those 'Hinchers' to keep their knives and forks super-organised.

Mum Julie Hanson shared a picture of her cutlery storage she got from Aldi (Facebook)

Posting on the We Love Mrs Hinch Facebook page, mum Julia Hanson said: "New cutlery drawer insert I got from Aldi yesterday. It expands to fit the drawer perfectly and the grey bit slides across. £4.99!!! I'm in love with it, the kids think I've gone slightly insane as I keep making them look at it."

Other mums were quick to comment, some saying they had bought the designer one.

Another mum shared a picture of her storage insert from Joseph and Joseph which cost £25. (Facebook)

One said: "Looks like a copy of the Joseph Joseph one! Wish I seen this as mine was £25."Another said: "I'm going Aldi after work and totally think I need this in my life."

Another said: "I got this yesterday as well, I also keep showing the kids, mainly because they will moan if they can’t see something the minute they open the drawer, have to remind them about the sliding top tray."

A fourth mum added: "I got one a few months ago and reacted exactly the same."
