MUMBAI: A man, identified as Mohammed Sarfaraz Shaikh, has been booked by the Mumbai police following an accident at a toll plaza towards Bandra resulting in three deaths.

Late on Thursday night, a speeding car, reportedly coming from Worli, collided with six parked vehicles at the toll plaza. The victims included two women, and 12 people were injured, three of whom are in critical condition.
The police have registered a case against the car driver under Section 304 (2) of the Indian Penal Code. Zone 9 DCP Krishnakant Upadhyay provided details, stating that around 10:15 pm on Thursday, the vehicle was heading north from Worli towards Bandra. Approximately 100 meters before the toll plaza on the sea link, it collided with a vehicle, then accelerated and collided with 2-3 more vehicles at the toll plaza, impacting a total of six vehicles.
