Mum who lost newborn son says his death helped her channel 'psychic powers'

A mum who lost her son at 26 weeks believes his death has helped her channel her psychic powers.

Nicola Green said having to give birth to her son, listening to him cry and then hearing "nothing" has taught her the suffering of life and death.

The 43-year-old from Brighouse near Huddersfield told the Examiner : "The pain made me be with myself, I could finally listen to the voice inside and channel my pain to understand my clients better."

Nicola, who also has dyslexia and learning difficulties, is set to release her first book, The Gift of your Wounds: How your Greatest Struggles can bring you your Greatest Gifts.

She explained: "It's about self-helping. I want to use the powerful tools I have and share them with people.

"It is aimed at people who feel overwhelmed, teaching them to surrender to the pain, accept it, grow and make something positive of it - just like I did.

The Vanishing: Mysterious true story of three lighthouse keepers who disappeared

“I grew up in a time of racial intolerance and lack of awareness of children with learning difficulties.

“I got a very strong message that I wasn’t good enough or accepted for being me. I did everything I could to blend in, when the reality was I couldn’t help but stand out.

"Never beyond my wildest dreams did I believe I’d become a published author.

"I want to show others that adversity doesn’t have to be a barrier to success in life, and that when we embrace our authentic selves we heal our wounds and release ourselves from suffering.”
