A 'terrified' mum said she is scared to be downstairs in her own house after her car was stolen over Christmas.
Monika Toth was sleeping on Christmas night when a thief entered her Kensington home and stole her car keys and cash.
She woke on the morning of December 26 to find her car and some money gone and her front door wide open.
The 32-year-old said she only recently moved into the new house two weeks ago, she said: "I'm still very terrified. Even being in my own home downstairs I'm scared someone will come inside.
"Because I have two children it's also terrifying because we were sleeping upstairs when this happened.
"Sometimes my kids so downstairs in the night for a drink, I dread to think what would happen if they came downstairs."
The car that was stolen from Monika was a white Audi A5. She is hoping someone will recognise it and report it to the police.
She added: "For someone to do this over Christmas, it's just horrible.
"And I just moved in this house just two weeks ago, my first Christmas here and this happens."
Merseyside Police said they are investigating the incident and are asking for anyone who may have information to come forward.

A spokesperson said: "We can confirm that officers are investigating following an unwitnessed burglary in Kensington which was reported on Saturday, 26 December.
"At around 9.30am, we were called to a home on Halsbury Road to reports of access being gained overnight and car keys stolen, in addition to cash.
"A white Audi A5 was taken from outside the home. Forensic, CCTV and witness enquiries have been carried out.
