Mum's photo of son's first Manchester United game goes viral as fans everywhere relate

A mum shared an atmospheric photo of her son at his first Manchester United game at the weekend - and it swiftly went viral as footy fans everywhere reminisced about their own first game. The photo showed 8-year-old Felix as he looked on at crowds of fans at Old Trafford ahead of Manchester United 's match against Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

Felix's mum Jacinta Moreno posted the incredible shot on social media after Felix hailed the day out "the best day of his life". It was the first time he'd been to watch his Manchester United idols in action.

The picture showed Felix looking out at fans amid the mist from flares in the Munich Tunnel before the start of the game. Protests had been held before kick off by fans against the ownership of the Glazer family.

The game turned out to be a thriller of a first match for Felix - as well as for United fans everywhere. It ended 3-2 to United after a stunning hat-trick from Cristiano Ronaldo.

But, naturally, the youngster had plenty of questions about the game, the fans and everything that attending a Premier League match tends to involve these days. Jacinta's Twitter post soon racked up the likes and shares as fans everywhere related to that magical first moment watching a big game.

Fans were quick to post their replies in answer to some of the questions - while reminiscing about their own first experiences of attending the Theatre of Dreams.
