A savvy mum has transformed her "bland" white kitchen into a stylish room with just £55 and some DIY.
Anna Beniaiche, 34, had been longing to change the tiles of her "clinical" kitchen for some time but had always put it off as she couldn't decide what she wanted.
But as she casually walked through a Poundland store for some household items, she spotted some stick-on, grey hexagon print tiles and instantly fell in love with them.
The mum-of-two bought the entire stock at the store in Hanwell, London, before asking a shop assistant where she could buy more.
Anna drove seven miles to Wembley to buy 40 more stick-on tiles to stock up for the transformation.

Later that day Anna decided to get to work and after a few hours had reworked her kitchen with a plush interior design.
M&S shop assistant Anna said: "I just couldn't look at the white any longer! I just love it.
"Thankfully, because of lockdown, I could find the time to do it. I have been meaning to retile it for a while but I couldn't decide which colour or design.
"The tiles caught my eye and I phoned my husband who just said to give it a go.

"There were only a few packets in there so I asked the shop assistant the nearest shop which had them in stock.
"I quickly made my way across London so I could get the rest.
"I didn't actually see them on the shop floor and had to ask someone to get them out of the stockroom. I'm just shocked at how good they are.
"They were stick-on and are heat safe. At first I thought if I get bored of them I can keep them up for a few years and then take them down but I love them!
"I hope other people see what I've done and give it a go!
"It's easy to do and most of the time you put something off because you've got to pay someone. Everybody likes a bargain."
