Mum praised for dinner she makes her daughter when she 'can't be bothered to cook'

A mum who shared a picture of the "lazy" meal she made for her daughter was stunned by the positive response from other parents.

The anonymous woman from Australia admitted she "couldn't be bothered to cook" one night, so she cooked her daughter a dinner which consisted of plain pasta and cut up Frankfurters.

But even though her daughter had specifically requested the meal, she admitted she felt extremely "guilty".

So she shared a snap of it on Facebook to see what others thought of it - and to her surprise, everyone loved it.

Instead of receiving criticism as she expected, dozens of parents flooded her with compliments.

Parents praised how relatable it was (Facebook)

Many praised her for sharing the relatable meal, as a number of people agreed that pasta was the perfect choice for both fussy kids and for days when you don't have a lot of time on your hands.

One mum said: "My [two-year-old] would eat this every day if I let him," reports The Sun.

Another added: "As long as your daughter goes to bed with a full stomach knowing you love her there are no issues here."

This comes as another mum was applauded for serving her children dinner and pudding at the same time.

Whilst it might seem like an alien idea to a lot of people, TikTok user Emily Dingmann swears by it.

Find out her reasoning behind the parenting hack here.
