Mum on The Chase leaves Paul Sinha speechless as she smashes every round

A full-time mum on The Chase left everyone including Paul Sinha speechless as she smashed each round.

Caroline was on the show hoping to win a proportion of the prize money.

She explained that her eldest son wanted to go to Japan, while her youngest was desperate to visit Disney in the US.

The two previous contestant had scored highly - with David securing £24,000 and Roy adding £7000 to the pot.

Expectations were therefore high when Caroline started the cash-builder.

But everyone was left gobsmacked when Caroline answered a number of difficult questions correctly, scoring £7000.

Despite being offered £49k, Caroline stuck with £7000 as she took on The Sinnerman.

And it was an impressive round as Caroline smashed the Chaser and flew through to the final.

Host Bradley Walsh said: "How do you know this stuff? You are brilliant, a great performance that."

And Paul added: "Caroline has just come in and got several difficult questions right, so I am in trouble."

Caroline's £7k took the team total to £38,000, with fourth contestant Joanna adding an extra £3k later in the show.
