A delighted mum has praised a £7 plate from Aldi that has stopped her fussy toddler's tantrums at dinner time.
The mum revealed on Facebook that her daughter, 3, is a difficult eater and the clever plate has encouraged her to eat everything.
She bought the the Fred’s Dinner Winner tray for £6.99 from the supermarket.
The dish divides food up into small portions which encourage kids to get to the finish line.
If they eat all their food in order - including their vegetables - they get to the prize at the end (which can be pudding).
The mum wrote on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK: "I really struggle with my three year old as she never sits still so we are constantly telling to her to sit back down, also she is very fussy and doesn’t like meals, but bought this plate today from Aldi for £6.99 and she's sat and eaten ALL her dinner including the veg!
“Without getting off her seat at all and ate it without arguments!
“Under the castle at the end is a pudding - she loves it!"
Many mums flocked to social media to praise the plates which they say have helped their children too.
One said: "I got one of these when my little one was 2. This definitely helped in the earlier days to persuade her into trying food."
