Mum gobsmacked after neighbour threatened to call police if she didn't keep her 'disruptive' child indoors

A parent has been left gobsmacked after she received a note from her neighbour which told her to limit her child's time outside to 15 or 20 minutes - and if she failed to comply they would contact the police.

TikTok user Dawny Dawn shared a clip of the entire note posted through her door by her neighbour whom she had lived beside for the past year, Hull Live reports.

The shocking note informed the woman that her neighbour believed they had given her enough time to 'correct' the issue by herself, however as her child's 'disruptive' behaviour had continued they were now willing to call the police.

The clip begins with the woman showing the folded note hanging out her letterbox where the front can be visibly read. The transcription posted to TikTok read: "Dear neighbour. I moved here a year ago and I wanted to give you time to correct this problem on your own, but you are apparently too inconsiderate to do so.

The neighbour threatened to call the police if the woman didn't keep her child indoors as she claims the youngster was disrupting her animals (TikTok)

"Every day this week, when weather has been nice and windows are open, you proceed to let your small child run free in your garden, laughing and giggling and carrying on without end.

"This is very disruptive for my two dogs and my bird who sits next to the window and likes to look into the garden.

"Perhaps you could ask your child to tone it down a bit. Or, at least limit her outside time to 15 to 20 minutes a day so my dogs can go outside without seeing her.

"If this behaviour persists I will call the police!", threatened the neighbour at the end of the note

The comments below the post are hidden, however the viral video has now raked in thousands of views on the popular social media site.
