Mum celebrates her kids going back to school by planning solo trip to Disney

Just because you're excited at the thought if the summer holidays coming to an end doesn't make you a bad parent.

While a lot of the country has a little longer to go till school starts again, over in the US, the kids are already back in the classroom.

And one mum is celebrating this without a shred of guilt in the best way possible - by enjoying a solo trip to Disney World .

She didn't wait around either, Florida-based blogger, Lisa , literally dropped her kids off in the morning then hotfooted it to theme park.

What's not to love about this? (The Castle Run)

"This, my friends. This is what you do after you drop your kids off on the first day of school," mum-of-two, Lisa wrote.

"You get yourself a pin and you walk it around Magic Kingdom like some garden gnome on a world adventure."

Sure enough, Lisa has a badge which proudly declares that she's "Celebrating my first day at school."

She saw plenty of other parents on the day looking stressed (The Castle Run)

"People are going to start stopping you and telling you that you are life goals," Lisa adds.

"They will often be saddled with strollers and lots of tired children. Be gracious. Comfort them. Wish them a magical day.

"Try not to skip away."

Just to be clear, Lisa also explains that she lives just 10 minutes from the theme park and the kids normally get to visit with her, so it wasn't as if she made a big trip and purposefully excluded them.

Lisa, who owns a trucking company, was hailed as a "total rockstar" by one of her many fans.

But perhaps the best reaction came from the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella.

"[The Fairy God Mother] was cry laughing with me and threw her arms around me while I cried, 'THIS IS WHY I MOVED HERRRRRRRRRE!!!!!!!!!!'," Lisa wrote.
