A multi-vehicle crash on the M77 motorway has led to rush hour traffic chaos for commuters travelling to Glasgow.
The incident, which appears to have taken place on the northbound M77 motorway at Fenwick, has resulted in one of the two lanes being blocked.
Meanwhile an eyewitness has told Traffic Scotland nine separate vehicles were vehicles were involved in the collision at junction 6. Traffic is currently queued back to junction 8.
Traffic Scotland say of the crash, which took place shortly after 7am: "M77 RTC N/B lane 2 (of 2) blocked at J6 due to an RTC Very slow traffic tailing back towards J8".
