Reinforcing its brand philosophy, Muji Thailand is once again staging an exhibition that further updates its commitment to sustainability.

Held at Samyan Mitrtown, the "What Is Muji?" exhibition illustrates its philosophy, which relates to the eco-lifestyle trend, in using products that are good for people, nature and the environment.

Founded in 1980, Muji is shortened from Mujirushi Ryohin, which translates as "no-brand quality goods". The Japanese company operates on three core principles: selection of materials, streamlining of processes and simplification of packages.

Muji also identifies itself with "being simple", "being natural", "saving natural resources" and "reasonable prices".

The exhibition portrays its development as a sustainable brand and its connections with the environment, as well as the sharing of its brand value with communities in Thailand.

The "Muji Garment" zone illustrate the journey, starting from the process of selecting 100% organic cotton and linen.

The "Muji Local Food" showcases local community products, enhanced by Muji's production processes which are free from chemicals and preservatives as well as plastic packaging.

"Muji Local Activities" highlights activities and workshops created jointly with Thai local communities to support Thai products and promote local wisdom.

The Japanese company has also given back, for instance through donations to the Educational Development Foundation.

Until tomorrow, the "What Is Muji?" exhibition is being staged in front of its store on Level G at Samyan-Mitrtown Shopping Mall. For more details see Facebook: MUJI Thailand and Instagram: MUJI_Thailand.
