Boxing legend Muhammad Ali has passed away at 73-years-old.
Surrounded by family in a Phoenix-area hospital, Ali died on Friday after spending several days recieving treatment for respiratory issues.
“After a 32-year battle with Parkinson's disease, Muhammad Ali has passed away at the age of 74, family spokesperson Bob Gunnell told NBC News. "The three-time World Heavyweight Champion boxer died this evening."
Ali, who's considered one of the greatest boxers in the history of the sport, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in the 1980s.
