Much-loved The Queen's Royal pub and restaurant in New Brighton has closed unexpectedly

A longstanding Wirral pub and restaurant has closed its doors for the last time.

The Queen’s Royal pub and restaurant will no longer be serving the people of Merseyside, close to the New Brighton waterfront.

It is thought that the owners were initially planning to close the restaurant, however the decision has been made to close both the restaurant and pub.

Fraiche set to reopen in Oxton after abandoning plans for new home in Liverpool  

A spokesperson confirmed to the ECHO today that the pub has sadly ceased trading and a notice has gone up outside the venue, letting customers know about the closure.

In a separate announcement, a spokesperson said: "After 15 years of serving our loyal customers we have decided to put the business up for sale…
