Mrs Hinch share 'brilliant' £1 hack for lifting stubborn heat stains from glass stoves

Getting rid of nasty heat stains from a glass stove can be one of the toughest cleaning jobs in the kitchen as they just seem to stick around. Thankfully, fans of the Mrs Hinch been on hand once again to answer all your stove cleaning needs with a simple trick that will only set you back a £1.

Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchcliffe, has become a cleaning sensation with an Instagram following of over four million, and her fans often take to Facebook groups to share their tips and tricks for cleaning and tidying around the house. In a recent post, someone was seeking advice with a pesky stain issue and wrote to the group: "Can anyone help me with what to use to get the heat stains out of my glass cooker please?"

Many suggested the same product (stock photo) (Getty Images/iStockphoto)

They then shared a picture of the unfortunate stain, with white-hot marks on the top of the glass hob.

In the comments, many cleaning tricksters were quick to respond with some advice for the person to be rid of their nasty heat stains.

And the main piece of advice that they suggested was to use Pink Stuff.

This is a paste or spray cleaner that you can apply to various surfaces, all you need to do is apply it with a sponge or cloth to the stained area, then once it is rubbed in you can wash off with water. Then you can simply dry it and the stain should be gone.

In the comments, one person wrote: "The pink stuff very good."

While another stated: "Pink stuff from home bargains brilliant not the squeezy one it's in a tub."

A third cleaning obsessive suggested the product and wrote: "I use Astonish or the Pink Stuff on my hob top. And the hob top is used daily my cooker is 10 years old"

The Pink Stuff can be picked up from most home stores and the best bit is that it costs just £1 so you can get your stove looking brand new for next to nothing.

That was not all the advice as others suggested different methods with one writing: " I use Astonish hob cleaner it's great."

With another suggesting: "Bicarbonate of soda and water to make a paste then rub away, won't scratch or stain."
