A Mrs Hinch fan has shared a hack for cleaning blinds using an every day item from her make-up bag.
Emmeline Estevez told fellow mums she used make-up remover wipes to clean thick dust off her blinds and the results were incredible.
Posting on the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook page Emmeline said: "These blinds are over 15 years old. Cleaning them has always been a bit of a faff and so it's one of those jobs I conveniently place at the bottom of my list to get around to.
"Full disclosure, I think the last time these had a good dust was around Christmas but it could have been longer. I'm happy to announce, I've found my new go-to method - the trusty make up wipe. Now I'm sure most cleaning wipes would do as good of a job but they dry out so quickly. Make up wipes have lots of moisture and doing the whole blind didn't take 15 minutes.
"For an extra shine, I sprayed some Stardrops white vinegar spray and gave them another go over. They are now very, very shiny and I can tick the blinds off my to-do list!"After posting, fellow mums commented in their droves, impressed with the cleaning hack.
One said: "Ooh, I have these hideous blinds in every window and only done the kitchen one recently as that’s was the worst. Will try this on the others, when I’m really bored."

One said: "Just spray blind, shower them, and dry with towel easy peasy and they turn out spotless."
Another said: "I have the same blinds. I take mine down hook them over the shower spray and shower off leave to dry."
Another added: "I do my blinds with wipes! I got a blind duster but it makes my hand go numb I squeeze it that hard. The wipes do dry out quick but I defo wouldn't be using my nivea face wipes I value those too much good job though!"
