Another note read: "Bev, can't believe we won't see you again, love you so much."

An event, which is set to take place on Sunday, January 23 between 4pm and 5pm, has also been organised in her memory.

The event, set up by Tempest FIT, will see friends and family walk or run along Seaham seafront in order to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance charity and remember Beverley.

The event, called Shine Bright Beverley on Facebook, states: "Join us for a run or walk as we shine our torches brightly in memory of Beverley Lawton along Seaham's beautiful seafront.

"Meeting at the Vane Tempest carpark, we will head out to raise money for the incredible Great North Air Ambulance charity who took part in trying to save Beverley's life on Wednesday, January 12.

"The walk/ run will be done in silence to create a powerful and moving atmosphere where we can take time to think about Beverley and all that she brought to people's lives, even those who didn't know her personally."

It adds: "Beverley will always be part of the running family here at Tempest FIT and we will raise a toast to her life alongside her family with her favourite cocktail."
