'Move them out' - Arsenal fans react to Granit Xhaka and Oleksandr Zinchenko displays vs Villa

Arsenal's first half against Aston Villa was a difficult one, to say the least.

Villa took the lead early on through England international Ollie Watkins, who finished well on his so-called weaker foot. However, the Gunners equalised shortly after through Hale End academy graduate Bukayo Saka.

Former Liverpool playmaker Phillipe Coutinho then took the lead, leading to a number of fans turning on Oleksandr Zinchenko and Granit Xhaka on social media. Here is what a select few on Twitter said.

@OsmanZtheGooner : "Xhaka and Zinchenko has been off form for 3 weeks, move them out for a week but they keep playing."

@Arsenalnewschan : "ANYONE ELSE SCREAMING AT OUR DEFENCE THROUGH THE TV?! We have got to tighten up at the back and Xhaka and Jorginho both need to do more in the middle of the park if we expect to get anything from this game."

@ltarsenal : "Arteta needs to change it up. Tierney on for Zinchenko. ESR for Xhaka. We need something different."

@afcevan : "Emile for Xhaka please. Can't afford to wait because we're giving this game away. Need to wake the fuck up, because this is nowhere near good enough."

@_PhilCosta : "Hard not to worry after that. Two pathetic goals conceded, left side ineffective - Xhaka and Zinchenko both useless in possession. White making routine errors, Saka and Odegaard being kicked out of the game. Nketiah crowded out. Our balance (and intensity) completely off."

However, it was Zinchenko who equalised in the second half, finishing brilliantly low and hard past Emiliano Martinez.
