Mount Florida is to host its very own Window Wanderland, after taking inspiration from south side neighbours in Strathbungo.
The event will take place on the evening of Saturday March 7, in a bid to "brighten up a dark winter evening!"
Organisers say: "After being inspired by Strathbungo Window Wanderland, the plan is to host a similarly beautifully inspiring community event here in Mount Florida.
"It will be completely free to participate! You will be able to register your window with the online map so that people know where to look, or just create something lovely without registering as a lovely bonus for the Wanderland walkers!"
And south side youngsters will be getting involved, with pupils at Mount Florida Primary School set to create the displays for the windows.
Meanwhile, the team behind the project are currently looking for volunteers, with anyone interested encouraged to email moflowindowwanderland@gmail.com.
