A motorcyclists was rushed to hospital after he was injured after colliding with an SUV in south Liverpool.
The emergency services were called out to Booker Avenue in Allerton at around 8.40pm tonight following reports of a crash between a motorcycle and an SUV.
One person was taken to hospital but the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
Merseyside Police confirmed they were called out to Booker Avenue earlier tonight following a road traffic collision and that accident investigators were at the scene trying to establish more information about the circumstances of the crash.
A spokesperson confirmed to the ECHO that the accident was between a motorbike and an SUV.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and a police cordon remains in place.
