Motorcyclist killed in Qld hit-and-run

Police believe a motorcyclist was fatally run down by a car following a verbal row with two men. (AAP)

A motorcyclist has died in what police believe is a deliberate hit-and-run crash in the Gold Coast hinterland.

Officers were called to Natural Bridge about 10.15am on Friday after the fatal incident.

Police believe the 28-year-old man was involved in a verbal altercation with two men on the Nerang-Murwillumbah Road in Numinbah Valley minutes before his death.

Following the row, the man rode south along Nerang-Murwillumbah Road for about three kilometres before the crash.

The Bracalba man sustained life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.

It is understood a Toyota sedan struck his motorbike.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam vision to come forward.
