Motherwell v Celtic: Stevie Hammell and Ange Postecoglou name their teams

Motherwell boss Stevie Hammell and his Celtic counterpart Ange Postecoglou have named their line-ups for tonight's Premier Sports Cup quarter-final.

Hammell has made two changes to the side that lost 2-1 here to Rangers on Sunday, with Blair Spittal and Connor Shields in for Ross Tierney and Josh Morris. Striker Louis Moult is again missing from the squad.

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has made five changes to the side that hammered Hibs 6-1 on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Benji Siegrist comes in for Joe Hart, while Josip Juranovic, Greg Taylor, Liel Abada and Kyogo replace Anthony Ralston, Alex Bernabei, James Forrest and Giorgios Giakoumakis.

Both sides will hope to progress to tonight's semi-final draw, with Celtic as the holders going in as favourites.

However, the Steelmen will be keen to build on their performance in the latter stages of the game against Rangers.

MOTHERWELL: Kelly, McGinn, Solholm, Lamie, Penney, Goss, Slattery, Spittal, McKinstry, Shields, van Veen.

Subs: Oxborough (GK), O'Donnell, Mugabi, Maguire, Cornelius, Morris, Tierney, Miller, Ferrie.

CELTIC: Siegrist, Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Jenz, Taylor, O'Riley, Mooy, Hatate, Abada, Haksabanovic, Kyogo.

Subs: Hart (GK), Giakoumakis, McCarthy, Ideguchi, Bernabei, Abildgaard, Maeda, Forrest, Ralston.
