Motherwell talisman Kevin van Veen starts Euro crunch tie

Motherwell's talismanic striker Kevin van Veen is starting their Europa Conference League second qualifying round first leg tie against Sligo Rovers at Fir Park this evening.

The Dutch striker has passed a late fitness test, and is in the line-up alongside new signings Paul McGinn, Blair Spittal and Josh Morris.

McGinn comes in for Max Johnstone, while van Veen replaces Joe Efford, otherwise it's the same line-up that Graham Alexander used in the 1-0 win over Partick Thistle at Firhill last Saturday.

Sligo Rovers boss John Russell has made three changes to the side that lost 2-0 to University College Dublin on Sunday. In comes Karl O'Sullivan, Adam McDonnell and Gerry Buckley for Nando Pijnaker, frank Liivak and Max Mata.
