Motherwell not panicking and the wins will come, says Sherwin Seedorf

Sherwin Seedorf has assured Motherwell fans that the wins will come after a pointless start to the Scottish Premiership campaign.

Stephen Robinson's men are licking their wounds after 1-0 defeats to Ross County and Dundee United in the last week.

The Steelmen dominated possession in both contests, but couldn't find the net despite 33 attempts on goal.

And with the visit of Livingston to come on Wednesday night, the winger, who has been one of the better performers for Motherwell so far, said: "It's only been two games, so we just need to keep a positive mentality and go with the same hunger in the next game.

"But we need to finish our chances.

"We've had a lot of possession, but it just didn't work out.

"We kept pushing them [Dundee United], but we just need to keep doing what we are doing and the wins will definitely come."

Things might have been different had a late Jordan White goal stood.

The striker was punished by referee Steven McLean for a push in the build-up, but Seedorf said: "I didn't see any foul in that.

"I don't know what he [McLean] saw there, probably something different, but we just keep going.

"It's football, it happens, we just have to move on to the next game."

Motherwell fans eagerly await their Europa League first round qualifying draw this afternoon and Seedorf added: "It's really nice to be involved and it will be a big test.

"If everyone has the same mentality, everything will come together."
