A 911 call has been released capturing the moment a mother informed the police about her car being stolen with her two-year-old daughter inside.
The woman had been dropping off an Instacart order when she realised her vehicle had been stolen with the child in the back seat.
Atlanta Police responded to a report of a vehicle theft and kidnapping on 30 July
"Someone just stole my car, and it has my two-year-old daughter in it,” the mother told 911 dispatchers.
The suspect was identified 21-year-old Saleem Martin.
Mr Martin was charged with kidnapping, theft by taking, simple battery, entering automobile, cruelty to children, and criminal attempt to commit a felony, Atlanta police department said
