Mother and 'influencer' daughter removed from UK-Jamaica flight after row forces emergency landing in Canada

An aspiring influencer and her mother were escorted from a plane by police after swearing at cabin crew during a flight from Britain to Jamaica, reports suggest.

The aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing in Canada due to the pair's unruly antics on Wednesday, May 28.

Meanwhile, fellow passengers filmed the chaotic scene in clips uploaded to social media, MailOnline reported.

The woman who recorded the clips, called Mandy, said that the journey from Manchester Airport was delayed for more than two hours.

The content creator then shouted at her mother as they waited to board the jet.

Pictures uploaded by Angel, who has 42,000 TikTok followers, showed her and her mother drinking in the bar before the flight, posing with a cooler full of wine and prosecco.

According to Mandy, who was sitting around nine rows ahead of the duo, they continued drinking as their flight took off.

She alleged the daughter became aggressive and began demanding to get off the plane mid-flight.

Mandy said: "The staff asked her politely God know how many times to calm down, and they made her sit down in her seat.

"They started to carry on again and the airline made her sit back down again and the captain announced that due to reckless behaviour there will be a delay in Jamaica as she will be arrested."

Although airline staff succeeded in calming the pair down briefly, the situation quickly escalated and the daughter was taken to the back of the plane and strapped in a seat.

The plane landed in North America and was boarded by police officers who arrested the mother first, after she allegedly kicked them.

Mandy added: "They cuffed her and then the famous TikTok woman, Angel, I believe, got arrested."

Footage of the incident showed fellow passengers clapping and cheering as the pair were led away.

While in the aircraft's aisle, the mother can be heard shouting "let me go" while other holidaymakers booed her.

The daughter meanwhile, smiled at fellow passengers and said "bye" as she was led away.

The fiasco caused the plane to be delayed by almost seven hours, arriving in Jamaica at 7.30pm instead of its original landing time of 12.40pm.
